Hard Kaur was born 29 July 1979 Age 38 Years in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, India. Uttar Pradesh is known for her hip-hop songs by the name Hard Kaur but her born name was Taran Kaur Dhillon. Taran Kaur Dhillon commonly known by her stage name Hard Kaur is a Very Popular British Indian Rapper and Hip Hop Singer. She lost her father when she was young and she and her mother moved to her maternal grandparent’s house. Then her mother married a British guy and moved to Birmingham, England in 1991.

She entered in Bollywood as a singer in 2007 with Film Johnny Gaddar with Song Move your Body. After that, she sang in many movies like Singh Is Kinng, Kismat Konnection, Bachna Ae Haseeno, Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani. Live Earth India, 2008, she also sung on that event. In October 2012, Hard Kaur released her second music album titled Party Loud All Year: P.L.A.Y. The album, produced in collaboration with Sony music, featured ten songs, all of which were written and composed by her. The most successful song of the album was Mujhe peeney do. At the time of elections, she composed a song “Karle Tu Voting” to spread awareness about voting. The song aptly describes fan frenzy and is sung in Hindi, Punjabi, Bengali & South language too. Also, she herself has written the lyrics of the song.
